Booking, Cancellation & Service Policies
At Park Day Nannies, our goal is to provide families with dependable, professional childcare while enjoying everything Orlando has to offer. These policies help us properly schedule our nannies and provide reliable service to every family.
Booking & Payment
Your reservation is not considered confirmed until the required payment has been received and you have received confirmation from Park Day Nannies.
Reservations made within 14 days of the scheduled service date require payment in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable.
By submitting payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Booking, Cancellation & Service Policies.
Standard Pricing
Standard childcare rates begin at:
One child: $35 per hour
Each additional child: +$10 per hour
Package pricing, promotional offers, Premier services, special events, and other services may have different rates and conditions. The pricing shown on your invoice or booking confirmation will apply to your reservation.
Scheduled Service Time
Families are responsible for selecting enough time for their planned activities, including reasonable travel time back to their resort, hotel, theme park, or meeting location.
Your nanny’s scheduled start and end times will be shown on your booking confirmation.
Reserved time begins at the scheduled start time. A family’s late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time.
Overtime & Late Return Policy
We understand that vacations don’t always run exactly according to schedule. Park Day Nannies provides a 15-minute grace period following your scheduled end time.
If childcare services continue 15 minutes or more beyond the scheduled end time, one additional full hour will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Additional overtime will continue to be billed in full-hour increments.
For example, if your reservation is scheduled to end at 10:00 PM:
10:00–10:14 PM: No additional charge
10:15–10:59 PM: One additional hour charged
11:00–11:59 PM: Two additional hours charged
Parents or guardians should contact Park Day Nannies or their nanny as soon as possible if they believe they will be late.
By completing payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to this overtime policy. Where permitted by the applicable payment method and payment authorization, the client authorizes Park Day Nannies to collect applicable overtime charges incurred during the reservation.
Extending Your Reservation
Want to stay out longer? We will do our best to accommodate extensions.
Extensions are subject to nanny availability and are not guaranteed. Families should contact Park Day Nannies as soon as possible if they would like to extend their scheduled service.
The nanny is not required to remain beyond the confirmed reservation time if they are unavailable to do so.
Approved extensions will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Additional Children
Your reservation and rate are based on the number of children disclosed at the time of booking.
If additional children will be placed in the nanny’s care, Park Day Nannies must be notified and approve the change.
The standard additional-child rate is $10 per hour for each additional child, unless different pricing is specified in your booking.
Children who are present with another parent, guardian, or responsible caregiver are not considered under the Park Day Nanny’s care unless otherwise agreed upon.
Theme Park Admission
For standard visits to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando, families are generally not required to purchase standard park admission for their Park Day Nanny when the assigned nanny has appropriate admission access.
Certain separately ticketed events, special experiences, tours, parties, or restricted-admission activities may require the family to purchase admission for the nanny.
If additional admission is required for your reservation, Park Day Nannies will communicate this before the service whenever reasonably possible.
Resort & Hotel Childcare
For resort or hotel childcare, the family is responsible for ensuring Park Day Nannies and the assigned nanny are permitted to access the property and guest areas necessary to provide the scheduled service.
Parents should provide accurate resort, hotel, room, contact, and meeting information prior to the reservation.
Transportation
Park Day Nannies does not transport children in a nanny’s personal vehicle.
Unless specifically arranged through an approved service, transportation remains the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
Parent/Guardian Availability
Parents or guardians must provide a working mobile phone number and remain reasonably reachable during the childcare period.
Families are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their child’s routine, allergies, dietary restrictions, medications, behavioral considerations, emergency contacts, and any other information reasonably necessary to provide appropriate care.
Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that vacation plans can change. Because our nannies reserve their availability specifically for your family, the following cancellation policy applies:
More than 14 days before your scheduled service: Cancellations are eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable payment processing fees.
14 days or less before your scheduled service: All payments are non-refundable.
Reservations made within 14 days of the scheduled service date require payment in full at the time of booking and are non-refundable once payment is received.
If a family needs to cancel within the 14-day non-refundable period, Park Day Nannies may, at its sole discretion, offer a booking credit or allow the reservation to be rescheduled. Any credit or rescheduling accommodation is not guaranteed and is subject to nanny availability.
No-shows and same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
Special events, separately ticketed experiences, promotional packages, and other specialty reservations may have additional cancellation requirements disclosed at the time of booking.
If Park Day Nannies must cancel a confirmed reservation and cannot provide a suitable replacement nanny, the client will receive a refund for the affected childcare services.
No-Shows
If a family does not arrive or cannot be contacted at the agreed meeting location and time, the nanny will make reasonable attempts to contact the family.
Reserved time lost because of a client’s late arrival does not extend the scheduled end time.
No-shows are non-refundable.
Nanny Changes
While we make every effort to provide the nanny originally assigned to your family, circumstances such as illness, emergencies, scheduling issues, or other unexpected events may occasionally require a replacement.
Park Day Nannies may assign another qualified nanny when necessary to fulfill the reservation.
If Park Day Nannies is unable to provide childcare for a confirmed reservation and cannot provide a suitable replacement, the client will receive a refund for the affected services.
Illness & Safety
Families must notify Park Day Nannies if a child is experiencing a contagious illness or other condition that could reasonably affect the health or safety of the nanny, child, or others.
Park Day Nannies reserves the right to decline or discontinue service when circumstances present an unreasonable health or safety concern.
Emergencies
In an emergency, the nanny will take reasonable steps to protect the child and contact the parent or guardian.
If the parent or guardian cannot be reached and immediate assistance is necessary, the nanny may contact emergency services or appropriate theme park, resort, hotel, security, or medical personnel.
Personal Belongings
Families are responsible for their personal property, including strollers, bags, souvenirs, electronics, clothing, medications, and other belongings.
Park Day Nannies and its nannies will exercise reasonable care but cannot guarantee against loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
Ending Service Early
If a family chooses to end a reservation earlier than the scheduled end time, unused booked time is non-refundable.
Your nanny has reserved that time specifically for your family.
Acceptance of Policies
By paying a Park Day Nannies invoice or completing a reservation, the client acknowledges that they have reviewed, understood, and agreed to the applicable booking, payment, cancellation, overtime, and service policies.
